Morgan Halaska

Morgan Halaska hails from the city of beer (Milwaukee) and resides in the land of 10,000 lakes (Minneapolis). She went to Marquette University and graduated with a degree in Writing Intensive English and moved to Minneapolis in 2009 to pursue a career in publishing and moved from the magazine biz to the craft brewing industry in 2020. She enjoys biking in any season, traveling to new places, reading a good book, and cooking a new recipe.

The U.S. Bank Stadium special issue of Minnesota Meetings + Events magazine was published in October 2016 to coincide with the stadium's opening. It won the Gold Award in the 2017 Minnesota Magazine & Publishing Association (MMPA) Excellence Awards in the Single Topic issue for Business Trade Organizations category.

From the judges: Nicely done. Great single topic issue chock full of pertinent information on its subject - US Bank Stadium. Design and editorial worked well together with even more detail than expected. They covered it all here and it shows. Thoughtful editorial planning. Nice level of production too. Paper stock and cover lended to the importance of topic for its audience. Kudos to the team.
